Thanks to working for many years in different areas of the produce industry, Willy (CEO) realized there was plenty of room for improvement. He bravely jumped on this vision in the year 1986, when W.P Produce was incorporated. Like every business there were hard times and a lot of dedication and persistence was needed, but with the help of W.P.’s suppliers and work team they have come through. After a couple of years Willy decided to trade mark his own brand. This brand Desbry™, came from his two children Desiree and Bryan.
W.P. Produce Corp. has been a family owned business for over 20 years and shows no signs of changing. Now with Desiree (Vice-President, Willy’s daughter) joining the team plans for rapid growth and expansion are becoming reality.
W.P. specializes on all tropical items. Since the opening in 1986, their vision has never been distorted. In order to have control over products they have chosen to directly import. Most of their suppliers have been with them for many years and have a very strong and ongoing business relationship.
You can find Desbry™ throughout the US and the Caribbean. W.P. distributes to other wholesalers, major super market chains and some local stores. Tropical items handled include:
